Our Senior Pastor
Fred Jensen was raised in a Christian home, and when he was eight years of age he gave his life to Jesus Christ, which began his pursuit in his relationship with God. At the age of seventeen, he began preparing for ministry. Fred attended Northeast Bible College, which is presently the University of Valley Forge. He further pursued his ministerial education by earning a Master of Divinity at Liberty University School of Divinity as well as a Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Leadership. Pastor Fred has a passion to be prepared for the challenges that not only face him as a leader, but younger pastors that face various challenges in the 21st Century. He is also an academic mentor to younger students preparing for ministry. Fred is a pastor to pastors.
Fred has also authored four books:
- Experience the Presence of God: When Jesus Comes to His Temple.
- The Dynamics of a Biblical Pentecost.
- A Study of the Foundation of Justification.
- An Examination of the Necessity for Servant Leadership in the Pastoral Role: Biblical Principles will be Explored.
Fred has been in active ministry for the last four decades as a youth pastor, church planter, senior pastor, professor, and training national pastors in the nation of India. Fred is married to his wife Naomi of forty years and they have three grown children. Their oldest son Paul is a consultant for global health issues and lives in Washington, DC with his wife Carolyn. Their younger son Stephen is a Japanese translator and lives in Portland, Oregon. They have one daughter, Lauren who is a NICU nurse and is married to Joshua, an Assembly of God pastor in western Colorado and they have 3 beautiful daughters Jayda, Grace and Sophie.
Pastor Fred is very familiar with the life and function of the local church. He desires to see people be used in their gifts and God-given talents for the glory of God and His people.
